Being in the land of the Kiwis, I had to do this! I had a bit of a struggle trying to get the Xgen to accept textures and details when I started. I had to do my research on Ptex materials and understanding how colors change over the length of each strand. but overall it was fun working on this guy!
I used Maya to model, Zbrush to sculpt the details, Substance Painter to texture, Xgen to add feathers and Vray for rendering.
