Day 18 - Malevolent
"Malevolent" - "having or showing a wish to do evil to others."
One of the things that popped up in my head was forest folklore creatures. Not the happy cheerful ones. But the ones that eat little children.
Here's my take on a Malevolent Sword.
I thought I'll add a bit of Folklore to this concept. So here goes.
"Morbid Will" - A sword that can only be found by someone who has a heart of a stone. The blackness inside the mouth is the core of its power source. The sword is so strong that it cannot even be sharpened like a regular sword. It needs sacrifices that it devours to stay sharp for its wielder. Failure to do so can result in the wielder becoming a victim as it latches on to its victim's arm and eats them alive.
