Picathartes

I'm pretty sure about 80% of the people who see this would have no idea that this bird exists on the planet we live on. Picathartes is a weird-looking bird that looks like it had a bad day. I mean which other bird do you know that looks like it wears underwear on its head?
Anyway! This awesome bird popped up on my web search and I knew immediately what I was gonna model next. Except for a couple of painful crashes, I had a pretty good time modeling and playing around with xgen getting those feathers in place. I think I could have done better with the overall silhouette of the bird. But hey, I think this is where we are now. I might come back to this later.
